EVALUATION

In Quebec, drivers must inform SAAQ of any new health condition or diagnosis and be asked to undergo driving evaluation after accident or illness such as stoke, concussion, Parkinson disease, schizophrenia, depression, etc. Because driving is considered a complexed instrumentalized activity, it requires adequate physical, cognitive, visuoperceptual and behavioral abilities. Any damage or change in one of those areas could alert your doctor, health professional or relatives to worry about your safety on the road.
